Reflections

Hollyann participated in our PTA Reflections contest again this fall and this time, she won some stuff :0) This years' theme was "WOW Us With Your Talents" so Hollyann submitted some stuff that she really likes to do just to see if others would like it, too. For the photography catagory, she took a picture of her little sister's hand, for the film production catagory, she made a cartoon and for literature, she submitted one of her newspaper articles. She got 2nd in film and 3rd in literature and just noticed for her photography. Barrett took her to the ceremony and she got to go up and gather her awards. She blew kisses to her adoring fans and was pretty cheesy about it all and I asked Barrett if we needed to have a discussion about humility? But at least she's not shy in front of a crowd, right? Who knows what she will grow up to be? Sometimes I really wonder....

I just got a new camera. My old ones were pretty much dying so I decided it was time, especially with a new baby in the house, to get something that would work better for us. So when the kids got home from school, we played with it a little bit. My kids are goofy - they make us laugh all the time and you can see why :0)
