Sadly, no pictures

Barrett's brother & his family came to visit us this week and we had a great time! Stephen, Paige and Hope flew in last Friday afternoon and stayed until this morning. They did so much great stuff! They went to the zoo, the National Mall, the National Archives, the White House, the Capital, many service & war memorials and Annapolis including the Naval Academy. It was a busy week!

We joined them for some of their adventures and others, they did on their own. Hope is only 15 months old and she did so great all week. They took her all over the city and missed many naps but stayed her happy little self and slept great every night. We so enjoyed spending time with her - it was easy for the kids to see what Hannah will be like next summer/fall and they can't wait. She is walking and signing and laughing and talking - we have so much to look forward to.

Not that we aren't enjoying our baby right now. She is getting to be a real charmer. She is smiling like crazy and it's not nearly as much work as it used to be to get her to do it. She has told me a few stories but Barrett has yet to really hear her talk. She moves her mouth like she has so much to say but not much comes out. We don't have a dr appt until Oct so we don't know how big she is but I can tell you, she's pretty petite.... but perfect :0)

We got some great news last week - Mema (my mom) is coming for a visit next month! We are so excited for her to meet Hannah and stay for a week. Papa can't come this time around - he'll be needing to stay home to take care of some business but we'll see him at Christmas.

That's our news for the last couple of days. And, like I said, we have no pictures of our adventures of the week :0( You'll have to ck out Paige's blog to see photos of their vacation.

Thanks for the update! I tried to call on Thursday, did you get my message? How was your birthday?

We're looking forward to meeting your 3rd little cutie at Thanksgiving. I'm so jealous that S&P got to come see her first! ;o) Thanks for being so good at keeping us posted - love you all!
