Today, the kids had no school and so we had some friends over and decided to go to see Shrek. We drove all the way to Montgomery (because the stupid Prattville theater isn't even open during the week) to find that there was no one at the counter. We waited until 1/2 hour after our show time and no one ever came to open up and let us into the movie! Only in Po-dunk-ville, Alabama would you find the theater and showtimes on the internet, drive down there and not have it be open. Stupid! I was frustrated but the kids really didn't care. They had their buds to play with so I was the only one bothered by the fact that we didn't get to see Shrek!
The rest of the day was good. We played at home for awhile and then went to the pool. We had a great day (after the stupid theater.) The kids have chosen some really sweet friends. We are praying that the Lord will bring us an entire family that we can all hang out with that live close. He has our new friends all picked out and we just have to find them - we hope it quick :0)

Ugh! That would tick me off too! Now you have an idea what 4.5 years in Great Falls (the armpit of Montana) was like! :)
I hear ya! I'm much more sympathetic now :0)
Well, if you see it, let me know how it is! We're waiting until it comes out on DVD. It'll be awhile!
