Happy Easter!

We had a very lovely Easter :0) It is cold here so we didn't get all decked out in our spring finest but we still had a fun day.

We spent the day at church and then at a friends' house for Easter dinner of ham and all the trimmings and then an egg hunt for the kids. It was a house full of kids and friends from ACSC - I will miss them. The day reminded me of when I was a kid. We didn't live by our family so we always had holidays with "family" from church. It was always fun and the day just reminded me of the old days.

The kids also had Easter baskets before church and the bunny did well this year. Andrew got some k'nex sets that, when combined, made a huge truck - kept him busy all day. And Hollyann got some American Girl activity books that also kept her busy all day and then I found her up early this morning working on it.

Saturday, we celebrated Barrett's birthday in Birmingham at an excellent children's museum/Imax. We all had a great time and weren't ready to call it a day when it was time to head back.

Hope you all had a great weekend, too. In discussion yesterday, we found it will only be about 10 weeks until we move again so we need to get busy! I should be packing right now but wanted to get this posted. You can pray for us, if you think of it, in the next couple of weeks - that we get it all done and that the kids handle it all well. They both have camp to look forward to so that's gonna be fun but leaving friends is never easy.
