Andrew Turns 8

• Well, Andrew turned 8 last week but we really feel like his birthday is not done. He was going to have a party on Saturday but we postponed it because a couple of his friends were sick, and he wasn't feeling so hot, either. He ended up not really getting sick - just a headache but we are happy that we still have the party to look forward to and we are hopeful that all of his friends will be better by next week.
• We just had his parent-teacher conference and it was all good news. His teacher just loves him and he loves her, too. He goes to school very happily every day, is always happy to do his homework and is loving 2nd grade.
• He didn't want a cake this year - just a cherry pie. And he loved every bite :0)
• He is such a great big brother. And Hannah has so much fun with him. He still doesn't have great patience for her but every now & then, I'll find them either reading or playing together - it's very sweet. But he always lets her tackle him and acts like he's being crushed - she giggles and giggles :0)

We love our sweet boy and look forward to another year with him :0)
